The Nairobi MICE and Convention Bureau is a public-private partnership established by NATIC to foster the development of Nairobi’s MICE industry.
The Bureau is dedicated to strengthening Nairobi’s competitiveness as a specialised MICE destination. Through its Facilities, Planning and Operations, Support, and Policy Cooperation divisions, it delivers high-level services for successful international and domestic events.
As a member-led organisation, the Bureau continually responds to the evolving needs of its community. Members connect with professionals across the MICE ecosystem and adjacent industries, contribute to initiatives that strengthen the sector, and help equip the workforce to meet the changing expectations of organisers and attendees.

Membership Levels
Corporate Member
Corporate membership is open to corporations, firms and businesses connected to the industry.
Individual Member
Individual membership is open to people aged 21 or above who are not representing an enterprise and are connected to the industry.
Advisory Member
Membership is open to national ministries and governmental or semi-governmental organisations whose activities relate to MICE, industry, trade or tourism promotion in Nairobi.
Affiliate Member
Affiliate membership is open to international organisations or bureaus incorporated or registered outside Africa that have an interest in the MICE industry.
Our membership community welcomes event planners, professional conference organisers (PCOs), travel agencies, tourism boards, corporate organisations, government bodies, hotels, start-ups and entrepreneurs within the MICE industry. As a public-private agency dedicated to the events industry, the Bureau contributes to its quantitative and qualitative growth by supporting both the globalisation and localisation of Nairobi’s MICE sector.
